As of January 25, 2026, the total number of deaths was estimated at more than 30,000, making it one of the largest mass killings in modern Iranian history. Human rights organizations speak of 36,500 deaths, while the Iranian regime limits the number of victims to about 3,000 deaths.
The truth is approximately between 42,000 and 60,000 deaths in 2 days.
