Iranian regime fears new wave of protests
Tensions between Iran and the United States are escalating as mourning ceremonies, sensitive Nuclear negotiations and mounting U.S. military pressure converge in the Middle East. In Iran, ceremonies surrounding the recently deceased cause additional national outrage and strengthen the pressure on the government to act harshly. At the same time, negotiations over Iran’s Nuclear program – with Western powers and Tehran trying to reach agreements – are at a crucial point where any new confrontation could undermine diplomacy.

The US is preparing long-term operations
against Iran’s Nuclear and government goals

Iran a difficult negotiating partner
The US Military authorities are reportedly preparing for a military operation against Iran that could last several weeks if President Donald Trump gives the order. Observations suggest that the targets could include not only Nuclear facilities but also Iranian government and security institutions, raising concerns that the conflict could escalate into a full-scale war in the Middle East.

President Trump stated, “I really want to see if we can come to an agreement,” adding: “Iran has been a difficult negotiating partner. Last time, I thought we had a deal and they wanted it too, but what we did was the ‘Midnight Hammer’ operation.”

Concerns are growing as the scope of this military plan reportedly extends beyond last year’s attacks on Nuclear facilities. A U.S. official revealed that, if the operation is extended, Iranian state and security facilities could also be targeted. This is interpreted as a strategy to neutralize not only Iran’s Nuclear and military capabilities, but also the foundation of its governance.

Meanwhile, the U.S. thinks it will have the forces it has stationed in the Middle East ready for a possible attack on Iran by mid-March (2026). U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance: “It is very clear that President Trump has set some boundaries that the Iranians are not yet willing to recognize and discuss.”

US President Donald Trump has clearly said that the U.S. will not allow Iran to build a Nuclear Weapons. His remarks come as U.S. and Iranian officials prepare to meet again to discuss Iran’s Nuclear program. The U.S. is asking for strong evidence that Iran will not develop Nuclear Weapons, while Iran says it will only agree if there is no threat of military action. The White House has also warned that if Iran tries to obtain Nuclear Weapons, there will be serious consequences.
