Dozens dead after explosions at Secondary School in Kabul
At least 50 people have died after multiple explosions near a Secondary School in the Afghan capital Kabul. Dozens of others were injured, the Afghan Ministry of the Interior said. The authorities assume a terror attack. Most of the victims are girls who are students of the Sayed ul Shuhada school, a joint secondary school for boys and girls. A spokesperson for the ministry expects that the number of dead and injured will increase.

The killing of innocent children, including girls, and an attack on a school is unacceptable. We call on everyone to act quickly to ensure that measures are taken to ensure safe access to schools for all children in Afghanistan.
