US President Donald Trump warned Iran in a post on his social media platform Truth Social not to step up the attacks further, after Tehran made threats after recognizing the assassination of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
“Iran has just declared that they will strike very hard today, harder than they have ever struck before,” Trump wrote. His comments came at a time when tensions continued to rise following the coordinated US-Israeli attacks on Iran.

On Sunday (Mar 01, 2026), Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf called the leaders of the United States and Israel “dirty criminals” and warned that they would suffer “devastating blows” because of the ongoing attacks on the Islamic Republic.
