Compensation for the damage caused in Iran
After the Strait of Hormuz was briefly reopened last Friday (April 17, 2026), the Iranian army command decided to close the crucial strait again on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Iran wants America to pay for the damage suffered by the war in Iran. That damage could be about 600 billion dollars, maybe more. This ridiculous demand or proposal has of course been rejected by Trump.

The U.S. Warships and Troops in the Middle East will remain stationed around Iran for the time being “until the REAL AGREEMENT that has been reached is fully complied with.” – “If for some reason that doesn’t happen, which is very unlikely, then the ‘Shooting is going to start again,’ bigger, better and stronger than anyone has ever seen.” – This according Donald Trump.

A sixth Deadline?
Anyway, Iran insists that it has the right to continue to enrich Uranium, no Regime Chance and lifting all sanctions that weigh Iran down. There has already been a Deadline for five times! Iran wants another 10 days to think about it. That would then be the sixth Deadline. Donald Trump probably won’t go along with that. This war has already lasted too long. Another 10 days? Next week (April 22) they will see how serious Trump really is.
The current ceasefire expires on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
