On Monday (April 13, 2026), the Naval Blockade came into effect. No ship is allowed in and out anymore. This could cost Iran about $450 Million a day.
This is a good and appropriate way to announce a blockade. “IRAN IS BLOCKED.”
This is really a genius move by Trump. Just block Iran’s revenue! Finally, America has a real president who is willing and able to make tough decisions to achieve what is best for Americans and the free world.

Iran has virtually closed the strait since the beginning of the war, at the end of February. This week, an American blockade was added to that for ships sailing to or from Iranian ports. According to the armed forces, at least twelve ships, more than a hundred aircraft and 10,000 soldiers will be deployed for this purpose. They did not let a single ship through in the first 24 hours and sent six back, the command says on social media.

Ship data shows that at least eight ships have sailed through the strait, similar to the situation before the American Blockade. There may be some kind of transition period.

The US is now blockading Iranian ports
According to AP reporting, Trump said on April 13 that the U.S. military had begun blockading Iranian ports along the Iranian coast on the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. The blockade does not completely stop all shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, but is intended to stop traffic to and from Iranian ports, while ships between non-Iranian ports can continue to sail as usual.

Trump added that the wave of U.S. warships and troops in the Middle East will remain stationed around Iran for the time being “until the REAL AGREEMENT that has been reached is fully complied with.” – “If for some reason that doesn’t happen, which is very unlikely, then the ‘Shooting is going to begin,’ bigger, better and stronger than anyone has ever seen,” he said.
The current ceasefire expires on April 22, 2026.

(Iran) Enrich Uranium – U.S. Not 5 years but only after 20 years!
After this naval blockade by America, the Iranian Regime wants to talk to J.D. Vance again soon. The 10-point plan on the table contains things that the US will not agree to. For example, Iran says it has the right to continue to enrich Uranium.
The Iranian regime holds the United States responsible for the failure of the first peace negotiations with J.D. Vance last weekend in Pakistan. No wonder, because Trump wants the government of Iran to start enriching Uranium in 20 years and certainly not earlier.
But… Iran does not want to wait that long and wants to do so after 5 years!

No Tolls
For the US, it is also important that the Strait of Hormuz remains open, without so-called ‘Tolls’. Iran plans to set up these Tolls to cover the damage suffered by the war. That damage could be about 600 Billion Dollars. This ridiculous proposal has of course been rejected by Trump.
